Part 2 - Jason moves in
So after a dark and scary week in the under stairs cupboard, Jason has made the transition to the new greenhouse outside, where he is dry and safe from the torrential downpour that seems to be going on at the moment! I've potted in amongst making the pasta to play with my new pasta maker for the first time...exciting culinary times. My sister Caz bought me the pasta maker, and she's been up visiting the last few days, which has been great. Just lots of hanging out, eating, pottering around. We went to visit my new nephew Maxad in Oxford, who is very laid back for one month old! Unlike his sister Aliya, who at 2 is gibbering away merrily and absolutely adorable. We played in the park and she was hilarious. Nice to be able to give them back though, and head back to Leeds to see Jen's first gig with her new band, which was pretty amazing. Such talent, and the new line-up are fantastic. Any budding record labels should snap them up straight away!
In terms of Jason, the next thing to happen is he's going to have board the summer somewhere (any takers?). Doesn't need much tending, just a bit of sun and care. Apparently pineapples only need 20 inches of water a year, so they don't even need much water! This is the make or break stage, so watch this space!
